At the January Board meeting, the Hancock Place Board of Education approved Mr. Paul Northington as the new chief financial officer. Mr. Northington will become the Executive Director of Finance and School Operations at Hancock Place, effective July 1, 2023. Mr. Northington served in a similar role at Hancock Place from 2007 to 2017 and is returning following six successful years serving as the CFO in the Rockwood School District.
Mr. Northington holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting and finance from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master’s in Banking from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is a Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations from the Association of School Business Officials.
Mr. Northington serves as the vice president of the Missouri Association of School Business Officials, is the past president and current member of the Greater St. Louis School Business Officials, and is the current Chairman of the Missouri Securities Investment Program.
Hancock Place is looking forward to Mr. Northington returning to the Hancock Place School District. Once a tiger, always a tiger!
